Narsha Kang is a contemporary figurative artist based in regional Victoria whose practice is inspired by the philosophy of traditional Korean ink painting.

Working across charcoal, ink, and mixed media, she explores the expressive potential of the human figure through gesture, tonal contrast, and negative space. Rather than pursuing literal representation, her work seeks to evoke presence, vulnerability, and quiet emotional tension.

Her practice spans both studio works and large-scale public murals, demonstrating how a consistent visual language can be adapted across different materials and environments. Through exhibitions, public commissions, and community workshops, Kang continues to investigate the relationship between tradition, contemporary expression, and the shared experience of being human.
